Got the idea for this piece while listening to Young Hearts Spark Fire by Japandroids. I felt it fit Nova's character, especially the line I used for the title.
She's looking at old pictures she took as a kid here, and remembering the good old times. Back then, she used to dream, now she's worried about growing old. Back then, nature seemed to flourish, now it seems to die more and more.

I'm really pleased with the picture, unlike with some previous digital painting experiments, this one finally worked out (or more like, I didn't immediately give up on it). Hope you like it too; critique and comments will be highly appreciated.
Very thoughtful. Even when reality hits our door everyday, that's no reason for stopping dreaming. What future can we have if we haven't done anything yet? Life's always uncertain.
Being "realistic" isn't always the best path. It tends to lead to pessimism faster than it seems. Though it's always going to be a conflict, I'd rather dream and fall to death knowing I felt happiness reaching for them, rather than sinking myself in constant regret for doing nothing and making money.
There's no end in making a job just to maintain your social life and standing, and it's not sane.
Amazing picture by the way - Love it
